Summary Of World Currency Markets For February 2010

The US dollar did better during February as it finished on 0.6578 against the British pound, so we will be seeing very shortly whether it could improve on that or not. The dollar also finished on a respectable 0.7369 against the Euro last time around, so perhaps it will achieve a similar result this month as well.

Here we are then with the first report of the New Year. But was it a good start for the various currencies as far as the currency converter was concerned, or would it be a bad one? The US dollar certainly finished the old year on a good note as it managed to pile on a cent against the beleaguered British pound. This left it on 0.6164 as the year came to an end – although the dollar had lost a total of nearly one and a half cents across the last day of trading. So was this setting up a bad start to January or was there better news in store?

So here we are with our last round up of the world currency markets for 2009. How will the various currencies fare as we head into a New Year? November was an interesting month which gave the US dollar a very slight foot up against the British pound. The difference was minimal though so it will be interesting to see whether it finished the year on a stronger note. The US dollar didn’t do so well against the Euro though, losing out on a whole cent as November came to a close.

We’re back again with another look at the monthly situation on the currency markets. Last month was certainly interesting in some respects, but perhaps not necessarily in the ways we would like it to be. For example the US dollar lost out overall against the British pound, dropping a total of 0.0171 over the whole month.

Summary Of World Currency Markets For October 2009

Here we are again with a fresh look at what happened in the world currency markets last month. Last time we saw some interesting changes all in all, and in particular the US dollar did not have a resoundingly successful month. Mostly though it gave us some interesting results but nothing particularly stunning or devastating. That perhaps is a blessing.
